William M. Patterson, M.D. was recognized at the University of Alabama’s (UAB) 11th annual Excellence in Business Top 25 ceremony on June 22, 2023 at the UAB Alumni House. UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 honors were created to identify, recognize and celebrate the success of UAB alumni-owned or alumni-managed businesses.
Dr. Patterson is a proud alumnus of UAB and is double-board certified in psychiatry and neurology along with being a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.. Dr. Patterson has served as vice chairman and professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UAB. He also served as director of the Anxiety Disorders Program, Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Services and Psychiatry Residency Training Program – all at UAB. Dr. Patterson attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
